Shorehaven’s tennis facility was completely rebuilt in 2016 and includes four Har-Tru tennis courts, a pro-shop, restrooms and a covered multi-level viewing area. Our USTA certified staff is always ready to be of help – whether it is for a group cardio clinic or a private lesson.
The club offers programs for members of all ages and skill levels. For those interested in competitive play, the Shorehaven’s Ladies’ Tennis Team participates in the Fairfield County Women’s Tennis League (FCWTL). The Ladies’ Program also organizes weekly “friendly” matches against local clubs. In addition, there are Member-Guest Events for men and women. The competitive season ends with the always exciting Club Championship Finals for Men, Women and Mixed Doubles over Labor Day Weekend.
For those looking for a more low-key tennis game, there are numerous social events throughout the season. Some of the highlights include: Sunday Scrambles, Tennis Twilights, a Pro-Am and a Pink Lady Round Robin.
Shorehaven also offers an exciting Junior Tennis Program based on the USTA Quickstart methodology. Youth tennis covers ages 4 and up, and clinics and lessons are offered weekday afternoons throughout the season. In addition, the co-ed Junior Tennis Team practices during the week and competes against other local clubs during the summer.
